"I have a lot to discuss with Riley." Chel folded her arms and already had several opening lines running through her head, none of them very nice or ... civil.
"Don't mention me ... please." Lisaan's eyes widened and she pleaded with Chel.
"It's not right."
"It's the way things are."
"Only if you don't stand-"
Chel's momentum was interrupted by an insistant knocking on the door to her room. Drat, someone had obviously invited themselves into her rooms. At least they were letting them know they were there instead of continuing to listen.
"Come in!" Chel snapped. "Now what? It better not be Riley ..."
"Great. She's back." Stealth narrowed her eyes at the door, her ears flipped back and her muzzle wrinkled uncontrollably as she bared her fangs.
