It took Lexx a moment to realize what had just happened. Rook had gotten away and there was no way they were going to catch her. "HEITE!!" He swore at her fleeing image. "She's getting away!!"
"Zeta chase?" Zeta ran up beside Lexx and lowered his head inquiringly. He was hoping that Lexx was not mad at him.
"No," Lexx grumbled, "We will try again later. Decoy tactic didn't work." He glared at Steel.
"It's not my fault that rook couldn't knock me down," snorted Steel, slowly making his way toward Lexx.
"You could have at least swayed!" Lexx yelled.
"Like I said," Steel shrugged, not at all concerned with Lexx's emotional outburst.
'I should have brought Dash…' Lexx went silent, glaring at Steel. He never cooperated fully.
