Lexx’s mind was a flurry of rushing colors and lights. They streaked around him and suddenly he found himself looking down at Chel. She had appeared out of nowhere, gripping his shirt tightly. Her mouth opened to form words, but nothing came out. It didn’t matter, the frightened look in her eyes said far more than words could.
Then, as suddenly as she appeared, Chel was yanked away from Lexx and hurtled out of site so quickly that Lexx could not follow, but he could feel. The relay was severed, casting Lexx’s mind into further confusion.

No! Now that its’ severed they can never play video games in his mind together! Or, you know, talk without being overheard and stuff.
