Lexx strode purposefully to the glass benches and table that were now positioned against the balcony wall. He sat down and gave Riley a hard glare. The littan had followed Lexx and looked like he was going to sit down with him.
“Uhh .. you want me to go too?” Riley blinked as the message was sent loud and clear in Lexx’s expression. He was going to take a moment to explain what was going on, but Lexx didn’t seem to want to listen right now. “If you insist.”
Riley shrugged and spun on his heels. A small smile spread over his face. “Oh, this is going to be great.” Lexx was going to have to deal with the situation without his help, which would likely make Lexx listen to him later. He was fairly sure that nothing would happen that they couldn’t handle. “As long as no one dies.” Riley allowed the thought.
The surveillance systems showed no one was nearer the island than normal and Riley had sent a message to all staff members to evacuate at the first sign of danger. The dice could take care of themselves.
Minor note: This is the first comic that was pencilled by hand, scanned and inked in Painter Essentials. You'll notice a huge difference in the lineart and artwork in general since it kinda helped me view some things better than normal.
