"My eyes should be green." The thought began abruptly. Lexx leaned closer to the mirror, studying his features. "That's a normal human color. My skin, like Chel's, and my ears… when I can change it, I will. That will surprise her." He took a step back, a satisfied smile present.
"It will make things easier." Lexx shook out his robe and prepared to put it on. "Everything will be easier. I can start a new life here… with Chel." His smile widened. That was a good thought.

Well, that most certainly should make things easier…but let’s be honest, would you really be the same, if you bent yourself like that?

Depends on if he was doing it to please her (or anyone else) despite liking his looks, or if he was merely sacrificing one area of his life (his appearance) to make an area more important to him (being with Chel) feasible, implying that he’d be ultimately doing it for himself.

Ya know I’ve given this some thought. If Lexx really wanted to change his skin color I think he could. I read in one of my biology books in High School that there were a group of people who had blue skin. It turned out it was easily treatable by giving then some blue pigment once a year (or something like that). Not that I’m condoning the fact that he wants to change all his looks just to be with Chel. Still, just thought it was worth mentioning. 🙂

No!!! Neither of you would be happy then! Besides, earth is boring! You can visit on thanksgiving and stuff, but you two could have awesome space adventures instead!

Lexx wants NO MORE adventure. He wants to essentially retire, and spend his days lazing about his island relaxing and spending time with Chel
