On another part of the ship, a door was opened into a small dark storage room. “It’s in here.” Light flooded onto the barren floors and walls, illuminating the only object in the room. An open metal box had been slid into one corner and something that looked suspiciously like body parts were heaped inside of it.
“If I might ask, what do you want it for, Sir?”
Kade stepped past Damian and lifted a head from the box. It was the mimic that had temporarily taken Kane’s place and attempted to kill Chel. A thin green membrane covered a featureless face and strings of greenish white hair hung off the back of the head.
“I can’t answer that, Damian.” Kade shrugged and glanced back at the visibly concerned Sairah. “Don’t worry about it. Forget you ever had this thing.” He dropped the head into the box and joined Damian, waving the door closed behind him. “I’ll take care of it.”

*Chuckles… then laughs harder and harder, ending in very loud, very enthusiastic laughter.* Oh, that WAS quite a while ago. It’s nice that they have a spare Mimic on hand to give up in exchange for Trasik.

I was thinking exactly the same thind. The monsters at ADC aren’t the only ones capable of sneaky machinations.
