He was confident that one on one, none of them could take Lexx based on what he had witnessed, but they could cause him a lot of problems. “She’s not as popular as Justice and Castle.”
“I can’t … no … I can believe it.” Chel threw her hands in the air in a panic. “Lexx, don’t go back there, not even for me.”
“It’s worth it.” Lexx grinned at Chel. If he managed to survive the next few days, there was nothing in the universe that would keep him away from her.

Aaah but you forget the power of “dad” my dear Lexx. Nothing chases off boyfriends faster. Of course “mom” trumps it. So it should all be good. ^_^

True. Lexx has many powers, but all Vic needs to deal with him is a half second and line of sight.
As much as I like Vic, I don’t doubt that he would shoot Lexx if he thought he could get away with it. Not a headshot, but since he knows Lex can grow back anything, he might reason that a bullet wound is a relatively minor injury. Thus, he could be under the impression that Lexx could be warned off by shooting him a little. Especially after hearing Lex say those three little words to Chell. Best interests for his daughter and all that.
I assume he heard it a little while ago when Lexx told her. His face sure looked like it.
