"Acadiu!" Saign's worried yell broke through their thoughts. For someone so short, she could run really fast. She was ahead of Riley, Claudia and the rest of her dice.
"I failed,… I accept it," Acadiu hung his head, speaking those words to Lexx.
"No. I did." Saign heard him. Then she turned to Lexx, taking a moment to catch her breath. "I underestimated you, Lexx. Acadiu is a third generation side 19,.. how could you,.. at only a 7?" She stared at the winged Rishan, who had leveled a cold look in her direction. "So,.. fast. And you're not even breathing hard or sweating!"
