"Well you're here now!" Damian clamped a hand on Chel's shoulder and guided her down another hallway. He wanted to get her away from Claudia. "Come with me! I didn't get to show you your rooms when you were here last! You have a balcony and a beautiful view of the ocean!"
Chel allowed herself to be escorted away, feeling she had little choice in the matter and a little curious about the rooms.
"I have to protect Lexx." Claudia turned toward the windows overlooking the island. The sun had not fully risen and cast ominous shadows on the island. Here and there a few dice were playing, enjoying their time on the island. Everyone was enjoying their time... everyone except Claudia. She would figure out a way to get rid of Chel. Lexx didn't need her. She couldn't do anything for him, but Claudia could do so much.

And she actually thinks she’s doing what’s best for him. Jealousy is very good at blinding people.

It was mentioned before that Claudia’s parents are a bit snooty. I wonder how she is going to pay for the wedding when they cut her off for marrying a penniless ex-dice Rishan

The dice is bonded to him at a subcellular level when he gets free he’ll still be bonded to it.
