“Unfortunately, he has valid reasons for not liking you.” Riley shrugged and glanced away. He was going to have to be the one to tell Lexx what had happened and he didn’t want that responsibility. If he could put it off for a little longer, he would. “Do you remember what you did?”
“No, the last thing I recall was talking to Chel.” Lexx straightened the capelet over his coat and flicked his wings out again, making sure it was in the right position.

Hrm…wonder how he’s gonna react to the news? Before his “treatment” I would’ve bet money on massive guilt with an almost catatonic withdrawal.

Well, I’m sure he’ll still feel guilty, but he might want to talk with Chel over the relay in order to figure out how to proceed. Vic’s trust might be won back after seeing his “treatment” and getting a valid explanation.
