Chel groped around for something to shield herself from the shifting form in front of her. Kane's body distorted, colors shifting along the arms and shoulders. The irony prodded Chel's thoughts. She had been afraid of Kane. This wasn't Kane. This was something far worse. Razor sharp blades extended from where Kane's hands had been. She crossed them once making one of the most frightening sounds Chel had ever heard. Razor sharp metal over metal with the clear intention that the next sound would be metal against flesh and bones. Then, Kane struck. Chel could only watch as the blade flashed through the air, accompanied by a loud blasting sound from across the room. She couldn't see what happened and for the moment, wondered if the heavy sound that popped on the left side of her head was how it felt to be skewered. There wasn't any pain. Only a sudden stillness as time stood still for Chel.

  1. Really? No Terminator comments at all? Well fine, I’ll make one. And I hated those terminators, by the way. Too freakin creepy.

  2. I stand by my ‘Kill it with Fire.’ Or electromagnetism. Or simply tear it apart and shoot it back into space…but honestly? Chel as target? The ADC really doesn’t know where to stop, do they?

    1. I say we take off and nuke the entire site from orbit.

It’s the only way to be sure.

      1. And then do it a few more times for good measure.

        P.S. Love Alien refs.

  3. AH! called it! T-1000!!

  4. Hrmm. This is about the spot when I first started reading this comic. Can’t believe I was still in middle school… I still love it just as much as when I first started reading it.
