Sirius blinked, momentarily stunned. Then he quickly pulled back and licked Chel across the face to wake her up before she hit the floor. Chel couldn't help but giggle. Sirius sat on his haunches, happy to change the subject. They had spoken enough.
"I need to go to sleep." Chel grinned. "I'm going to have to talk to Riley and Lexx in the morning and I'm going to need all the sleep I can get." She didn't have to say it aloud, but in her rapidly dwindling mental state, it helped focus her mind.
