Dash inhaled deeply, thrusting his chest out and fluttering his wingtips. They brushed over Stealth’s back, sending shivers up her backbone. Then he exhaled in a goofy, yowling sound that would be difficult to classify as any kind of music.
Despite herself, Stealth was amused at the racket. It was embarrassing and it was for her benefit to lighten up and laugh at him. Dash had a horrendous singing voice. A slight smile crept over her muzzle and her anger seemed to rapidly fade away.
Dash still liked her.
That simple fact meant more to Stealth than she would ever admit.
Suddenly, a large, heavy bottle sailed past them and rolled in the grass, accompanied by an irritated yell, “Knock it off!!”
Stealth giggled and Dash laughed. Then the pair of them jumped up with a kink in each of their multiple tails and raced deeper into the garden. Zaile glared after them and muttered a few more curses before settling down to one more drink to lighten his mood.

Today's update will go up later today or tomorrow, needs to be colored. Thankfully, I'm only a day behind even after losing another day to a doctor visit for Kim, parent orientation and calling multiple places to arrange for Kim to get tested for some minor mental things.
Donations keep us going - literally. :D Right now, I have to earn $125 between now and next Friday to make sure we have enough for bills. We WOULD have enough... if the 15th wasn't on a Saturday. :( I get paid on the 15th, usually, and that's when a bill is due that they will not move the date for, which has caused me problems every single month for the last year. When it falls on a Saturday, they tend to delay payment until the following Monday or Tuesday. :( That's never good. Of course, I don't get the option to delay payment until the following Monday or Tuesday.
I DO have a set of Stealth Magnets that I will be posting pictures of later today.

Seriously, those little scratches barely sting. :D That was just a warning and one shouldn't keep thinking the dice are HUMAN, because they aren't. I've said it before, they act like animals and I've seen irritated animals, specifically cats, lash out at something they love because they simply can NOT reach the thing/attack the thing that is really annoying them. That is the nature of cats, even nice ones do it and they give you a warning.

Poor Zaile. Unwittingly “serenaded” by Dash and now he’s going to be hounded by very large cats.

This page is a good reminder that Dash and Stealth have always been on good terms with one another despite how strained things get between them.

It’s an interesting thing taking in the last couple of pages and the things you talk about the Dice being still animals Tiff.
While the Dice do act like animals that can think and talk amazingly like humans. Epsy’s episode with Lexx attacking her eggs and Stealth taking a swipe at Dash, prove that point well.
It’s also amazing to note that those who we’ve seen in the ADC are far more worst then any animal. I mean considering what happened to all of Lexx’s family because of the ADC.
Though that helps give us a view of just how much more cruel the situation is for Lexx because of the ADC chairwoman and her lackeys.
In one thought, I like to think of the Dice though they may be animals, at least they aren’t monsters like the ones running things for the game.

Just because something is intelligent doesn’t mean its not an animal. Humans may be very advanced and intelligent, but we still act like animals quite often, we aren’t as in control of ourselves as we would like to believe.

It’s funny because in the real world, people don’t like jerks. Why would Dash want to hang around this jerk? lol Trust me, if an average person goes to cheer someone up, and they get a ‘stealth reaction’ even without the claws, they don’t hang around, and they don’t come back.

Really, you get paid late? That sucks
It’s the law in NZ that you have to have 24 hours of access to your salary, etc prior to the weekend/public holidays, so we generally get paid early.

Ad agencies are notorious for this. Pay was never late when working for Xerox. 😀 Most companies will pay early on principle if pay day lands on a weekend/holiday.

Actually, a lot of people are abused and are dating jerks, they don’t immediately leave if they are in love a lot of people remain and make excuses for them, and stealth is not a jerk she’s a very nice kind loving kitty who misses her owner Chel. She’s not getting the loving petting cuddling attention that she used to get as Mittens, and that isn’t fair, cats deserve love.
