“Nothing will be official until all of those creatures are caught.” Sirius flinched as he felt something brush up against his haunches. He glanced back to see Serenity, the African Wild Dog cocking her head curiously at him. Her oval ears were perked up and she was listening to the conversation as well now. “I will be going after the next dice tomorrow evening. You are welcome to come and watch if you like.” Lexx invited politely. He turned away from Victor as he spoke and grinned to himself. Things were looking up in his book. “I would.” Victor accepted. “What are they talking about?” Serenity whispered to Sirius. “The future.” Sirius lowered his head worriedly. Serenity hit Sirius’ muzzle with her own playfully and licked his nose. “No need to worry. We’ll be fine.” “I hope so.” Sirius forced a smile at Serenity. It was good to have an old friend back.
