“I said I was sorry.”  Chel reiterated. “It’s okay, Chalupa.”  Keith spoke soothingly to the rain coat.  “We’ll be home soon and I’ll give you a bowl of apple juice.” “What happened to when you’re in the field you don’t let your emotions get in the way?”  Chel was annoyed at being ignored in favor of the troublesome chupacabra. “We’re not in the field.”  Keith muttered. “But you were when you brought it – her home.”  Chel pointed out. “Completely different circumstances.”

  1. …No. No it’s not. You let your emotions get the better of you, and you broke the rules. You could have brought it back and told them it was orphaned. Nope, you snatched it away. You may be a soft hearted security risk, but you are still a security risk!

    1. You confuse me. You yell at Vic and Kieth when they take security seriously and don’t account for personal ethics. Then you turn around and yell at them some more when they DO bend the rules and err on the side of mercy. Make up your mind already!

      1. The issue is hypocracy- Vic is making a huge show about following protocol when any competent agent in his position, government or law enforcement would have REMOVED themselves from the case due to being emotionally compromised- entirely UNACCEPTABLE in a first-contact scenario when you could potentially start a war-
And Keith here violated the protocol and procedures he wrote himself, than continues claiming he’s a professional..
