“Zeta got idea!” A lightbulb exploded somewhere in the vacant spaces of Zeta’s mind. It was so obvious. “Epsy take arm, give back Lexx!”
Epsy blinked at the suggestion, “You think that work?”
“Epsy take arm. Epsy give back. Doctor Huggy put back on?” Zeta rattled off. How hard could it be? The doctors could do anything! They could fix this and Lexx would have his arm back. Problem solved and everyone could thank Zeta for thinking of it.
“That … good idea.” Epsy cocked her head to one side in thought. It did sound like it could work and she wanted to make peace with Lexx in case he thought she might still be trying to chase him away. “Good idea, Zeta. Then get Chel. Chel can take the eggs, keep them warm. Keep them safe!” The huge sallomandyr bobbed her head excitedly.

That’s a good idea Zeta it’s too late though… if they’d been able to retrieve the arm right away maybe, but that’s what the nanomachines are doing… regrowing the arm for him…
