"Right." Andrea's innocent face instantly hardened. "You'd just embarrass me in front of my boyfriend outright."
"He's not my boyfriend!" Chel snapped back. "This is Keith we're talking about. We're friends!"
Keith shifted uncomfortably.
"Yeah? What about Lexx?" Andrea spoke deliberately, her tone digging at Chel.
Chel opened her mouth, then grimaced. She did not want to have to explain Lexx to Keith until she had thought of exactly what to say about him.

Chel? Violence is an acceptable way of dealing with bratty younger siblings. Just remember, no broken bones. Heaven knows Andrea deserves to get wailed on.
