"Chel..." Lexx was speaking, but his voice sounded funny. Chel stared at him quizzically. "Chel. Honey. What do you think?"
"Oh...." Chel blinked, realizing she was being spoken to by her mother. "Australia or a cruise sounds fun."
"Pick one."
"Cruise?" It really didn't matter what she chose. Chel realized that her mind would be somewhere else the entire time. She would be wondering what Lexx was up to. What was he doing now? He was okay, wasn't he?
Andrea giggled, showing her approval of the choice.
"A cruise it is!" Mel smiled cheerily.
"I wanted to go horseback riding across the outback." Kalvin folded his arms and scowled.
