Lexx scowled, realizing that his initial plan wasn't going to work. 'Deuce,… wings! Acadiu was hiding them! I thought I'd have the advantage if I could get in the air!' Lexx kept his wings spread, using the updraft to rise as high as he could get.
"You can still give up, Lexx!" Acadiu yelled once he was close enough for Lexx to hear him. "We don't have to do this!!"
The storm continued to build around them. Lexx was good at mastering storms when he needed them. It was actually his preferred way to fight because of how often it threw off the opponent. Inside an arena it didn't work. Acadiu wouldn't have much experience fighting in this kind of environment.
Lexx was unique in his ability to play with the elements. Very few master dice could manipulate their surroundings and even among them, Lexx was outstanding. It was an ability that had helped him more than once in the past,.. but it took a lot out of him. He had made a mistake.
