Lexx was up to number 20, Chel’s beautiful, long hair, when a shooting light struck his relay, exploding in a brilliant burst of starlight. It was followed by more and a mechanical voice intoning: Incoming Priority Relay. Lexx was forced into his relay, shielding his eyes as the dazzling array of lights continued.
He had seen this type of array before. Each strobe of light was a layer of security. At the most, Lexx had only seen a security level of one. Now, three levels went by and there was a fourth. The light was almost painful and Lexx grimaced with each additional flash. What kind of priority relay is this?
