“Karmine, you don’t know what’s going on outside this ship.” Chel tried to gently extricate herself from Pitrea’s grip. The little girl whimpered, but remained seated as Chel got up and walked toward Karmine. “I assume you came from the ADC Academy … just like Lexx?”
“Yes. We all did.” Karmine kept on writing on her dataplate.
“Life there and where Lexx is are two different things.”
“We all have the same rules.”
