She’s an animal. She was just doing what animals do. Chel leaned toward Epsy. Epsy is herself again. You can see it’s her .. not like last night. She tentatively ran her hand over Epsy’s head. “I’ll take care of the eggs, Epsy. Is it okay if we move them away from here?” Epsy rolled happily back to her feet.
“Yes, just keep them safe and warm.” Epsy purred.

I read that last line as Epsy giving instructions for the care of the eggs which strikes me as ADORABLE
