A few minutes later, Chel had put on a robe in preparation for leaving the room and her father and other dice stood near them, waiting to see what would happen now. Riley was still in the room, talking over a communicator to various security and medical crew members about what was going on. “I’ll take you and Chel to Maelinn’s rooms.” Riley turned to Vic and Chel with a thought of how to ease their present fears. “She won’t mind. I will post guards… and you’ll take Serenity and Sirius with you.” Vic nodded his acceptance with a quick glance at the pair of dragons standing nearby. He actually trusted them more than the more humanoid aliens the longer he was around them. They were animals and in his mind, their simplicity of animal nature was far more comforting than the aliens who spoke with ulterior motives. These animals were Lexx’s, but they had protected Chel in his eyes and it was obvious they held her in even higher regard or simply felt she was the one who needed protecting. “When will we arrive back on Earth?” Vic inquired curiously. “36 hours.” Riley replied, missing Chel’s startled expression at just how little time she had left to convince her father of many things. Things even she wasn’t sure of. ------------------------------------- Computer wouldn't let me -recover- until I BROKE it and sent it into a recovery loop that finally gavevthe option to reset to factory mode. 1. I am really sorry to hear about the surprise surgery for your daughter. Good luck. Hope all turns out well. really enjoying how the comic is turning out.

  2. Poor Chel, I want to hug her. 🙁

Careful on the eye size she looks like she’s changing into an anime character in the last panel.
