'I'm so relieved to be back here.' Chel and Sirius thought simultaneously.
'I'm so tired I can barely think.' Chel stopped. Sirius stared up at her curiously. 'It was going to happen one way or another. It could be worse. They could have kept me there and Sirius would have been running through my neighborhood.' The thought of Sirius being hunted like some wild animal was a chilling one. Chel sighed. She was thankful things had not exploded beyond her limited control. Now she just had to look forward to talking to Riley and Lexx in the morning.
