A dark shadow fell across Chel for a moment. She glanced down at the shape, then up at the sky. It was oddly familiar, but hard to make out any details. Like any other dream, it was also hard to concentrate on anything past what was going on at that moment. Chel rose to her feet and felt moved to follow the shadow. She found herself facing a towering stand of trees. The fringe of a dark forest.
The only thought in her head was of the shadow. It had looked familiar, but what was it? Then,… she saw him in the shadows amidst the trees. Lexx stood there, waiting to be seen in the darkness. He wanted her to follow him. Would she follow him?
"Lexx?" Chel called out curiously.
