"If Dash has Tarlic and it spreads to the other dice, they will all die - painfully!" Lexx yelled suddenly at Chel. "They will suffer and die! Then I won't have ANY dice and I'll lose and -AND- I will die!" Dash pressed himself tightly against Chel's chest, his ears back and eyes wide. He was expecting Lexx to grab him at any moment. Chel glared back at Lexx, her lips pursed tightly into a thin angry line. There was a period of uncomfortable silence, then Lexx backed off, trying to keep his voice even and low. "I'm not being cruel, Chel. I am being realistic. You are being irrational." Chel's scowl deepened at the accusation. She was not being irrational! Dash was a living creature with a definite sentience to him. Having him put down was certainly murder in her eyes.

  1. A little word of advice, Lexx. Never call a woman irrational unless she is in a padded room, or being held by four point restraints.

  2. As they say on Bug Planet, “The needs of the many bugs out weigh the few.” I hope someone gets that reference.
