"yes, he did, but he didn't know."  Chel nervously folded her arms.  She did not like Primrose.  Various thoughts and plans ran through Chel's mind.  She had to get away from this woman.  'Agree, then get Lexx out of here the moment he's done.  He can't stay here.  They'll lock him up.  I know they will.'
"We will take that into account."  Primrose slid her hands into her coat pockets and gave Chel a firm look.
"Ok.  Let's go."  Chel felt like a small child talking to Primrose.

    ERA is presumably under the US government, given that Vic used “FBI” as his public identification. Wouldn’t they need to ship in a jury of his peers to legally do anything? THAT would be interesting, especially if he made the argument that at least one of them had to be an indentured player…

      You forget that they can declare Lexx to be a national secret. He can be strapped to a table and experimented on until he dies.
