Stealth laid her head on Lexx’s right knee with only a few inches separating her from Sirius. They purred and Lexx gave in. He smiled and ran his good hand through Stealth’s mane of thick crimson hair.
Outwardly, Stealth and Sirius were the picture of caring, but over the relay the two were sending a very different message to each other. Stealth bared her fangs and hissed at Sirius, who responded by clacking his needlepoint teeth together and hissing back. If Stealth was going to threaten him, Sirius wasn’t going to back down.
