Lexx continued slowly backing away.  He couldn't understand the logic of using this creature against him.  It was big and heavy, and even though the hood looked like it could possibly aid the creature in gliding, it didn't look like it would be able to go far.  There must be something more to it. "Geh …."  Lexx stared upward.  Desirea's pink eyes were concentrating on him.  'They just keep getting bigger … and uglier.'  He glanced back at the cliff edge.  'But this looks like it wasn't well thought out.' Fily watched with a blank expression.  The monocle on his left eye flickered as he gauged energy levels.  His dice wasn't going to have a chance.  He was going to lose one of his prized show dice.  The reality sunk in.  Fily spoke without emotion, "Get him."  It was as good as killing Desirea himself.  Fily turned away from the battle.  He didn't want to watch.

  1. Poor bastard…and to think it’s all because of that sister of his…I wonder what dirt she has on her brothers, to make them cooperate like that.

    1. It’s not that she has dirt on them. It’s that she’s family. As despicable and vile as Trasik is, she’s still family. You don’t turn your back on family, especially when you’re a noble family like them. It’s sort of an imperative that they make a show of support, even if they don’t agree with her.
