"You can leave now, Riley." The connection was broken as Chel pushed the mental images out of her head, being careful not to block. She was upset, but she didn't want to permanently cut off Riley.
"Chel, listen to me, it wasn't intentional!" Riley really wanted to explain.
"Riley." Chel turned away from him. "Go. I mean it. I don't want you here." She glared over her shoulder.
"I was just curious." He decided to keep on talking. Riley did not want to leave without explaining. "I have never seen a shared dream before." He chose his words carefully, working on piquing Chel's curiosity.

‘Blocking’ I understand…however I do wonder, if it is really impossible to ‘unblock’. Also, wouldn’t it be best, if there was some ‘knocking’ mechanism to this telepathy? You know, you have to consciously let someone in, before they can access your relay…wouldn’t that make more sense?

Depends on what purpose it was originally developed for…with all the screwed up things that the people with resources in their universe’ve done, I wouldn’t put it past someone to block that feature on purpose (or, you know, have their devs do it).
