Day 24 Part 3

Lexx was forced to hop backward further than he wanted, trying to put distance between him and the largest dice so he could deal with them on a one on one basis. The tentacles whipped out at him forcing the smaller creature to swerve out of the way and circle around to the side. “We can’t interfere or Lexx will lose automatically.” Riley knelt next to Chel, his eyes glued to the battle. Chel wrapped her arms as far around Stealth’s thickly maned neck as she could for more reassurance. She didn’t want to watch this, but at the same time, she couldn’t take her eyes off what might happen. Lexx was barely able to keep out of the way of claws and tentacles, but he managed to get enough space to launch his first attack. He snapped off a quick word that Chel couldn’t hear and a blast of sparkling bright bluish white light erupted from his hands, knocking back the smaller creature and causing the larger one to withdraw for a moment as the light lit up the courtyard.
