“DAD!!” Chel found her concentration immediately broken and was on her feet before she even realized she was moving.
“They brought us down here as quickly as they could.” Vic opened his arms for Chel to run into them and hug him tightly.
“I’m… I’m glad you’re here.” Chel sobbed. Vic had said us, but as far as Chel could see, he had arrived alone.
“We were told it’s serious. But you’re okay?” Vic brushed his hand through Chel’s hair and found smudges of blood on his fingertips as he did so. “Chel, are you okay?”

Well considering all the surprises that happened.
Secret plots only partially uncovered, injuries done to Lexx and the trauma done to Chel and those children. I’d say Scars run more then just skin deep.
Though I guess he was thinking like a father and expected it to translate to physical scars on his daughter.

Yikes… is that simply blood from when Lexx was shielding her from the knife that was… kinda sorta meant for him anyway (I think)…?

Please go back to having a text version of the action below the strip. For some reason the right 1/3 of the strip is cut off on my and some of my friends’ screens and we miss a lot of the plot. Thanks.
