Chel closed her eyes and sighed, assuming now would be as good a time as any to open her relay for Lexx to talk to her. Lexx’s head rolled back onto the pillow as he closed his eyes and within a heartbeat Chel found herself in his arms across the relay. His hands were trembling and his eyes closed, reflecting his condition in the physical world. “I’ve been waiting.” He smiled tilting his head toward Chel and kissing her, first on her forehead, then on the end of her nose and finally on her lips.
It was like nothing Chel expected, as though every emotion Lexx had was wrapped up in how happy he was to see her and have her in his arms. Chel let herself be swept up in the kiss, wishing it could last forever.

at least the can love each other in thought. Also this brings up a question. if some one dise while in realy what is tat like for them and the one comunicting with them.

Well, it’s possible that the person who dies leaves a portion of their thoughts and will in the relay of the other person. (Lexx had this happen to him when the female Rishan was killed during a challenge.) So, Chel would end up having a part of Lexx that would likely want her to be happy and move on on.
Although, that’s only if Lexx actually dies. I doubt that. Partly because I think Lexx got into a hospital fast enough and partly because I just don’t think he’s gonna be beat by this!

I just realized this is the first time they’ve been close to each other since Chel’s kidnapping. No wonder they’re so <3 sick. ^_^

after following this series for a number of years, since the beginning… I don’t want to see Lexx lose. I don’t want to see Lexx die, and I absolutely am holding out for the proverbial “happy ending”… Lexx and Chel deserve each other. They’ve worked so hard. And yes… *FINALLY!!!* for the kiss… sheesh, he only has to nearly die to be able to start being happy O.O
