Day 25 Part 1 Page 3

Vic didn’t speak, so Chel continued, “Lexx shouldn’t have to suffer like this.  He’s never gone out of his way to hurt anyone – I know he hasn’t. He avoids people because they repeatedly hurt him.”  Chel paused to see if he would say anything. Vic nodded slowly and folded his arms in front of him. “What about those who are trying to help him, Chel?  I was harsh on them, but I know they genuinely want to help him.  Where would Lexx be right now without them?”  Vic fixed Chel with a curious gaze, waiting for her answer as he attempted to refocus her thoughts to just how many people there were who wanted better things for Lexx.  Chel wasn’t alone in her concern.

  1. He doesn’t shy away from the people who are willing to fight for him despite his pushing them away. I think its what makes him seem more human than alien to me.

  2. Since the biggest helper’s sister is part of this current problem I’d have to answer that Lexx might just be better off if his friends didn’t try to help him.

    1. Not necessarily true…

If you think about how they either catch or kill off the other players, this poisoning would have gone off with less problems without a medical team waiting on standby to help less.

In other words ADC would have gotten their way with Lexx a lot sooner one way or another.

I’m actually surprised how well Victor is taking it. Considering he’s just an observer in all of this (except when it comes to Chel), he’s getting a look at what the others meant that it would be better if earth stayed out of galaxy politics. He’s keeping his cool, while others would be infuriated with a company that can dispose of people so easily.

      1. I get the feeling Victor is long past being surprised at some of the bad in the world (or now, the universe). That doesn’t mean he wouldn’t like a chance for some payback on those who’ve done this. Especially when it’s impacting his daughter. But, he’ll keep cool and wait for the right moment.

        1. A certain amount of cynicism and being a bit jaded can be a defense mechanism for a person. It’s likely that Vic has become at least a little pragmatic in his years. Especially once he got put in charge of finding aliens and other supposed not real things and making sure they don’t make trouble.

  3. Since I don’t have text ready, Vic knows he can’t do anything about what’s going on in general, since the aliens keep pushing him aside, but he can at least talk to Chel and I really hope he makes sense in tomorrow’s update. 😀 He’s more a man of action than diplomacy.

  4. Did you see that face in the second panel? Oh, I love to know what’s going on in Vic’s head. Keep up the good work Tiff!
