Day 26 Part 2 Page 4

Meanwhile, conversation between Victor, Lexx and Zaile was slowly growing in intensity and not in a good way. Keith and Chel were silent for the most part. Keith did not have any reason to say anything and listened while petting Sirius. Chel was waiting for the right time to talk. Unfortunately, it was Zaile and Victor who were dominating the conversation and from where Chel was sitting, she could see Lexx slipping into a simmering mood. The conversation was light, but Chel was beginning to worry about Lexx, who didn’t seem to take her father’s occasional verbal poking as anything more than picking on him. Zaile was a completely different person, but Lexx? He was back to being himself and not wanting to be bothered by people getting to close to him. “Dad, I need to talk to you right now.” Chel found a moment to get her father’s attention. “Am I in trouble?” Victor asked playfully, lifting his eyebrows in mock surprise. “Yes.” Chel grumbled with a touch of sarcasm. She was a little annoyed with her father for making light of her need to talk to him. One day left and AD's deficit will roll to -$891. I'll get the book kickstarter running in a couple of months in an effort to make profit and will be simplifying how I do the comic. - Tiff

  1. *Snicker* I love the look on the Dad’s face in panel two like he is trying to blow it off.

Tear into him Chel, let him know how you really feel.

  2. Congratulations Chel, on your first father/daughter role reversal. You’ll be running the place with your Dad as your secretary in no time!

  3. Meh, Thanksgiving break is making it hard to rember what they were talking about. Now I have to go back and re-read. 😛

    1. Ok, so the last part of the exchange we saw was Lexx asking about his dice. So, why is dad suddenly in trouble? Does Chel think he needs to know something about them or did he give a less than agreeable answer that we didn’t get to see?

  4. This was such an amusing page to come in on after not having read the comic for a while *goes back to archive*
