“Know your limits, Keith.”  Zaile suddenly remembered what he should be doing.  This human’s relay introduction was his responsibility.  “If you are not concentrating on one of your mental creations, they run on subconscious information.” Keith didn’t appear to be listening, hanging off the end of Daeny’s heavily scaled muzzle.  The scales were hard plates with just enough of an edge that he could get his fingers over them and hold on. “They use everything you ever read, saw or imagined to ‘think’ and act on their own.”  Zaile walked up behind Keith, speaking in a stern voice.  “You can get trapped in your own mind and suffer physical injuries.”

    Daeny: “Could you imagine some cows? I’m hungry!”

    pretty sad that i had to google Daeny in order to figure out what everyone was squeeling about. and yes i do intend to one day watch or read game of thrones.

    Poor Zaile . . . he’s created a monster who creates monsters . . . at least the dragon is friendly now.

    I wonder if Keith read the PERN series. That dragon would totally be my best friend if it was me, and I’d be riding it. 🙂

      He said “Impress to me!” so he’s definitely read the Pern series, since “impression” is a Pernese dragon thing.
