“Why?  So you can get your face smashed in?”  Riley turned upon Keith.  “The ‘aliens’ you described are Sairah.  Pure alpha males at that.  You’re lucky they didn’t kill you by accident!”  Pure males, not like Damian.  They would never take on any feminine characteristics no matter how their environment might change.  They were powerful, aggressive and unpredictable.  Even though Damian was near their end of the spectrum and an average male Sairah, there was a huge difference in their builds and demeanor. Damian had no desires for violence or dominance, traits which were associated with so called pure Sairah males … and females.  Dealing with them could end up with the far weaker humans getting hurt and that was a risk Riley really did not want to expose Keith or Maelinn to. “I have to save Chel.”  Keith stated. “You would just get in the way.”  Riley rolled his eyes at the thought of the human coming along.  Lexx was the one who would ‘save Chel’, unless she managed to save herself and he really didn’t put it past her.  If anyone could, she would.  Keith was unnecessary and would likely just get on Lexx’s nerves. “I’m assuming the same reasoning goes for me.”  Maelinn stated accusingly.  “I would just ‘get in the way’?”

  1. Turnip the Scintillating

What happened to Maelinn’s facial markings?

  2. First guess? Makeup.
    Second? Racial skin tone control.

    1. She’s part whatever race Claudia is. She can change her hair and skin color, though she wasn’t able to at first. It seems she’s gotten better at controlling it.

  3. I have an idea riley, tell your fiancee she will just get in the way, see what happens
