Claudia completely ignored Damian and pushed her way into the small viewing room. Something had caught her eye. Unfortunately, that something was Keith.
“Hello. My aren’t you a cute little human.” Claudia leaned toward Keith and wiggled flirtatiously.
“I’m not a little human.” Keith went rigid. Fly, who had been perched on Keith’s shoulder since they’d arrived on Damian’s ship, rolled his eyes.
“Claudia, please behave.” Damian sidled up to Claudia and wrapped one arm over her shoulders to guide her away from Keith. “They are my guests.” Then he added in a whisper. “The big one’s Chel’s father.”
“Oh.” Claudia blinked.
“Ohhhh.” Realization fully dawned on her and a grin spread over her face.
