"If the dice breed, they tend to revert back to a feral state!" Riley shouted. "And they are especially protective when the babies are young!"
Chel slowed down and glanced back at Riley. "Oh no." Images of what a rampaging Epsy could do filled her mind with blood and bits of blue wings. Epsy was big. She was bigger than the average dog and a dog could kill a person. Epsy had size, weight and a mouth full of killer whale type teeth. "Epsy's a big dice..." Chel's expression fell considerably at the thoughts."Someone's going to get killed!"
"Lexx!! Lexx!!" She started back the way she was going, leaping forward and rushing away faster. Why did he have to run off like this before thinking it through? It was just like with Dash. He wanted to destroy him immediately instead of looking for other options. He should've waited until morning and not just run off like a mad man.
She could see where this was going. Lexx was going to approach Epsy with clear intent to destroy her eggs and she was going to attack him to defend them. "Stop!! Please stop!" Chel shouted as loud as she could.
