Riley leaned as closely to Lexx as he dared, staring into his eyes in hopes that he’d wake up soon. He didn’t. Lexx stood completely still, a silly smile spread over his face and eyes blank. He wasn’t even blinking. Riley began to feel a little bit of worry creep over him. “Lexx?” Riley whispered walking around him. “Hello?” He said a little louder. There was not any response. Finally, Riley reached out with a finger to poke him in the neck, but hesitated. Waking Lexx up, might result in a broken arm for all he knew.

    No! Use a stick! Prod him with a stick, not your finger! He’s your friend and all, but if his wing spasms, it could break your rib. Maybe.

      They still look pretty weak – like the muscle structure’s not developed fully yet. I doubt he could break ribs. And aren’t Littan ribs reinforced by a special chest plate?

      That reminds me. Years ago I was reading a SF story… one of the sub genre that doesn’t really deserve to be called “Science” Fiction…

      And while out on the Lunar surface in full space suits, one of the characters saw something suspicious, so she “found a stick and poked it”.

      And I said, “uhm, where did the stick come from? The Moon is a dead rock. No Trees”.

    Is the one black wing and one white wing thing new or did I miss something earlier?

      Well he has had blue reptilian looking (or bat like, if you don’t believe in dragons) wings before, at the latest with some kind of fangs/claws at the tips.

      So – as far as I have noticed – both the feathers and the dual color (white/black) is new.

        I think I noticed the feathers earlier, but I’m not sure at the moment.

        OOr the left wing is in shadow and that’s why it’s black.

        Poor Lexx REALLY needs a good night’s sleep right now.

          Or maybe the top of the wings are black, but the under plumage is white?

          Looking back at when he last rolled back in July, it looks like it is just the undersides that are white, with the tops being black.

    Okay.. Now this is just plain weird! He’s asleep with his eyes open???? What in blue blazes is up with that?! It’s like the lights are on but nobody’s home…

    I’m glad it’s not just me who is confused by the one-white-wing one-black-wing. They are sad little wings, maybe we could hold a fundraiser to get him some nice big flyable wings?
