The last light flared and steadied. Lexx dared a glance, his arms still shielding his face in case it wasn’t over and something more was to come. He squinted as his eyes focused on a shimmering golden window, flat on the bottom, curved at the top like it had been cut out of an existing building. There was nothing behind it, but it was illuminating a figure before it.
The form was silhouetted, tall, and very female. “Well, well, aren’t you special, Shira Lexx.” The words came with an icy cold tone to them that sent shivers up Lexx’s spine. He stared at the figure, crouched and feeling very small.
Lexx glanced at the clothing the relay had forced on him. It was the same loose blue outfit that he recalled from his time in the ADC. Casual clothes. Simple and rough. Fear gripped Lexx, but he held his resolve and glared critically at the form before him. “Who are you?” He demanded. “What’s going on?”

I just uploaded the comic for February 26th. :D My buffer is actually BUILDING. As a reminder, updates will increase when I get a full month buffer. I have a convention in a couple of weeks and BECAUSE of the buffer that's there, there will not be ANY interruption for the first time, EVER! :D - Tiff

And so all those favors and having fate giving Lexx a bit of a smile to him is starting to catch up with Lexx.
I can probably guess who that is. Someone taking a bit of a slight that he even has the Greys coming into the game to help Lexx and they want to deliver the challenge of the Gauntlet personally, perhaps?
