The dice barely left Lexx’s hands before he was under attack. Tairin leaped forward, slamming both fists down into the sand, sending a concussive wave toward Lexx. Without thinking, Lexx leaped backward, throwing his hands up to form a shield, pushing against the wave. Glimmers of light danced over Lexx’s back as feathers emerged, bursting into reality in a matter of seconds. It’s usually a courtesy to not initiate battle before the dice hit the ground. He scowled, his feet hitting the shallow water surrounding the sandbar. Lexx crouched, preparing to attack. Light formed around his hands, glowing brightly in the darkness. I don’t tolerate bulllies.

I’m having one of those, this is work and I don’t want to do it, weeks, because Artist Block isn’t real. I just don’t want to do it.
