"Not as mad as you think," Riley stepped forward, his coat sweeping around him in a gust of wind. "She had to know." "Are you here to meddle more?" grunted Lexx in response. He looked away from Riley, wishing he would go away. At the same time, Lexx attempted to hide his right arm from Riley's view. Chel could see the bandage was unraveled… and covered with blood. "You're not letting me talk over the relay." Riley walked up to Lexx and sank down in the grass next to him. "I thought that would be a good enough indication that I don't want to talk to you." Lexx grumbled, clutching a sharp edged rock in his right fist and placing his left hand self consciously over his right arm. He didn't want Riley seeing what he had been doing. "May I ask what you are doing out here?" Riley stared at the back of Lexx's head. He knew the answer. The smell of blood was thick in the air. "No. Go away." Lexx responded gruffly. "Put the rock down?" The littan spoke in concern. "Aren't you hurt enough by everyone else without doing it to yourself.

  1. While I’m reading this the rational part of my brain says that I don’t see why Lexx would practice self harm. Then the part of me that used to be a victim of self inflicted wounds and is still has to remind myself from time to time not to do it totally understands what is going on. I consider this well done.
