Day 24 Part 3

The violet creature regained its footing, digging in all six feet and launching itself at Lexx with an earsplitting roar.  Lexx uttered another word, putting his full focus on it as the light shifted in its intensity and pattern.  It fell apart from a steady stream to golden orange balls that battered against the oncoming dice with such force that it was flipped sideways and then sent rolling and squealing in pain to the far side of the courtyard.  The roar turned into a pained wail as it landed in a heap with balls of hard light bouncing repeatedly against it, tearing through its tough hide. Lexx didn’t waste a moment more on the small one when it was clear it wasn’t coming right back.  He turned to the remaining one that was looming over him and sending both of its heads down toward Lexx.  He dropped to his knees, slamming his hands down to send a wave of energy shooting up from the ground toward the dice. The blast rippled over the grass without harming it, but it pushed the behemoth back and away from Lexx.  It was moving as fast as it could, but the blast struck it full on and pitched its bulk sideways. Lexx kept his eyes on it as he continued the onslaught.  A refreshing blast of energy had begun coursing through him and the familiar sensation of change was coursing through his upraised wings.

  1. Whoah… :O

  2. Oh no, he’s sparkling! Lexx is turning into a vampire!

    1. No no, this is a good thing.

      He’s leveling up.

A little boost is definitely a good thing. Lexx needs all he can get.

  3. Or he could level up and faint or something, wasn’t that a possibility? 😡

  4. Well, Lexx seems to be winning and rolling up a side can’t possibly hurt.

    1. The more he rolls, the crazier he gets. I’d say that’s a possible “hurt.”

      1. That’s exactly what I was thinking! D:
