Fifteen minutes later, Chel sighed as the phone call ended and she was left feeling drained and slightly panicked. "I hate lying to dad - but in this case, it's to protect Lexx. Forgive me." Chel was feeling conflicted about not telling her father about Lexx. Right now would not be a good time to discuss Lexx. She was unsure of what her father might do. Chel needed to fully think through the best way to talk to him. 'Something is wrong.' Victor scowled across the airport hall. His plane would be leaving shortly and he had a lot to think about. 'Very wrong. I have a suspicion about this 'Lexx' and Chel's behavior. Does it have anything to do with Riley? Maybe he's really some boy visiting, but then why would Chel lie to me?' Victor walked out into the hall, pocketing his phone and musing over the events of the past few days. There were many scenarios running through his head, but only two really stuck out as being logical reasons for Chel to lie. 'Either she's protecting him or she's being controlled by him. And if it's the latter. There isn't enough space in this universe to keep me from ripping his head off.'

  1. Hmm…I like his attitude. Not exactly his means, but his attitude is tops. I mean, that’s what he’s supposed to do, is it not? To protect those dear to him…but I wonder…how in the world we he react, once he finds out the truth? I mean…he has a suspicion…and that alone would warrant him searching Chel’s room…oh the things he could find…

    1. I don’t know, but I cannot WAIT for it to come to fruition o_o ^_^ *Hurries on to the next page*
